Batken Petroleum Refinery is a leading company that produces oil, gas and associated products that fuels the modern economy. Our history is closely interlinked with the rise. Batken Petroleum Refinery produces liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), dry gas and sulfur in addition to crude oil.
We operate the nation’s largest refining system, with 3 million barrels per calendar day of crude oil refining capacity across 13 refineries. Our refineries are integrated with each other via pipelines, terminals and barges to maximize operating efficiency.
Our Midstream segment primarily includes which gather, transport, store and distribute crude oil, refined products, including renewable diesel, and other hydrocarbon-based products via refining logistics assets, pipelines, terminals, towboats and barges
Our focus on meeting the world’s energy needs while lowering the carbon intensity of our operations and the products we manufacture. Our approach to sustainability includes increasing the volume of renewable fuels we produce and market.
We have a broad customer base, including asphalt-paving contractors, government entities (states, counties, cities and townships) and asphalt roofing shingle manufacturers. We sell asphalt in the domestic and export wholesale markets via rail, barge and vessel.
